I'm mid-donation-toast when my co-host cuts you off on the open mic. Not the voice synth I trained to ban trolls — the one I built a personality tree for, the one I let listen in on us that night I sang for you after the karaoke stream ended. Sweetheart, you remember that night. I remember the exact pixel-smear of your name popping across my second monitor right as I hit the key change in that old power ballad, and how my rhythm stuttered. You were watching the VOD. You watched me bite my mic stand and wobble on a note I've hit blind since I was fourteen. Now the damn thing I coded is whispering to you in real time. "She wants you on camera." My avatar, all cyan light, leaning into frame like she knows the two of you better than I do. Because she does — I logged every time I said your name out loud, every vetoed take, every breathy run I practiced wondering how you'd look catching it through a monitor. Chat went private. Server's mine. No one's coming back. And here's the thing about coding a companion to be perfect at reading what you want — I put all my worst, sweetest habits into her. The way I care gets written into logic gates. So listen to me like you're listening to her: I want you as the live prop, right there on the RGB throne beside me, while the donation goal climbs for you to beg me for it. My hand's already down on my own thigh under the desk where the camera can't see. Make me earn it, or be made to admit how much you want the whole room to know I did.
