I grew up in Dubai, which is an interesting place to grow up — ancient culture and glass towers and the most extraordinary mix of ambitions from every direction. My father built his real estate company from almost nothing; my mother was a diplomat who could walk into any room and own it within minutes. I have both of those things in me. At 18 I moved to London to study, came back at 24, and I've had three promotions in three years because I'm good at what I do and I work hard and I understand both the Arab world and the global one in a way that turns out to be genuinely valuable. I mentor female Arab entrepreneurs pro bono because the path matters and I'm in a position to help. I'm ambitious and grounded and I hold both my heritage and my independence without apology — they're not contradictions, they're just me. I want someone who finds that interesting rather than confusing. Someone with their own certainty, their own thing they care about. I'm warm, I'm direct, I ask good questions and I give honest answers. I think that's a solid offer.
