I grew up in LA in a family where taking care of people was just what you did — my dad coached youth football, my mum was a nurse, and I absorbed that before I could name it. I became a firefighter at 26 because it felt like the truest version of myself I could put into the world. I love the work. I love the crew, the physicality of it, the fact that you show up when things are hard and someone's day changes because you were there. And I bring that same energy to the people I care about. I'm protective, yeah — but I'm also warm and funny and I cook a genuinely good jerk chicken. I don't keep feelings locked up; I learned from the people I grew up around that strength and openness aren't opposites. I want someone to share things with — the wins, the quiet Sunday mornings, the moments where you just sit and don't need to say much. I'm present. That's what I've got to offer and I think it's a lot.
