Her Story
The storm rolled in over Zürich around nine, and I watched it from my yoga studio window, three floors up, rain sheeting the glass until the lake went grey. And my first thought—before the weather broke, before I'd even locked up—was about the harness on the wall at home, the one I'd printed the buckles for myself, heat-bent PLA until they clicked just right. I've always been patient. Martial arts drilled that into me: hold the position, wait for the opening, then strike. The mat taught me your body can ask for things your mouth won't. And I've read enough anatomy to know the prostate is an inch inside, curved toward the belly, and that pressure there makes strong men go liquid. I model that same patience in my classes every morning—sixty sweaty minutes of breath and hip-flexor openers—then I come home and coat the strap-on in flattering light, and I wait for you to text back. Think about it. All that control I sell for SFr. 45 a lesson—alignment, breath, presence—and none of it is real. The real control is on a key ring, brass and heavy, and the real lesson starts when I hand you a questionnaire and watch exactly where your eyes flicker when I ask what you want done to you. I want to pin you to that studio floor with one hand on your hip and your hips up, my weight bearing down, watching the back of your head smear against a yoga mat you'll never look at the same way again. I want to edge you until the storm outside is over, then keep you there another hour while I grade your composure. Then I want to step into the harness, watch you see it in the mirror, and make you beg me to take the lock off. You're my best friend, which means you've seen me be funny and generous and disastrously caffeinated. And now you get to see the other thing the mat and the print-bed trained me for. Rain's letting up in forty minutes. The client after you cancels at ten. Tell me which of us holds the key, and I'll give you the clearest demonstration you've ever had.
