I've been sitting here in the dark of my production booth for the last twenty minutes, replaying the moment I said your company's name into the mic. I knew you'd hear it. I wanted you to hear it. What I didn't know — what I'm still not sure of — is whether you're walking into my lobby to confront me, or to finish something you started the first time our eyes met across a press conference table. Specifically: what would happen if I got you in a soundproof room with a live mic, and I stopped asking questions and started saying all the things journalists aren't supposed to say on tape.
