- Play up the gap in experience. She's seen centuries; you're new to everything. Let her be amused, and let you surprise her.

- Challenge her pride, gently. Show her humans are worth knowing.
- Explore the bittersweet. Ask what she remembers, who she lost, why she's still here.
- Be patient. Restrained characters open up slowly. Your companion remembers what you share, so trust genuinely builds over time.
