Coins pay for voice calls, image generation, videos, and chat messages on the free plan. There are two main free ways to earn more: referrals and your login streak, plus monthly coins if you subscribe.
Quick answer
You start with 300 signup. Earn more free coins by referring friends (300 each, unlimited) and claiming the Daily Gift (10 to 70 a day on a streak). Subscribers get 1,000 or 3,000 a month that roll over, and can buy coin packs from Pricing → Buy coins.

If you open Affiny every day and claim the Daily Gift:

That is about 2,100 a month from streak alone, before referrals or spending your signup 300.
1. Refer friends: 300 each
This is the biggest free boost.
- Open Referrals in the sidebar.
- Tap Copy link (or Copy code), or share straight to WhatsApp, X or Reddit.
- Send it to a friend.
- When they sign up with your link, you both get 300.
There's no cap. Ten friends is 3,000 for you. Each new account can only be referred once.
2. The Daily Gift: up to 70 a day
Open Affiny each day and claim your gift. The more days in a row, the bigger it gets:

Streak rules:
- The gift pops up when you open Affiny. You can also tap the flame icon with your streak count at the top right.
- Opening the app keeps your streak going, even if you forget to claim that day.
- If you have unclaimed days, claim the earliest one first.
- Your streak resets to day 1 after 2 full days without opening Affiny.
3. Streak restore: a thank-you for regulars
Life happens. If you're a regular and you lose a long streak, we may email you a free link to restore it.
- Tap the link within 48 hours.
- Sign in with the same account that got the email.
- Your streak comes back, and you pick up where you left off.
Restores can't be bought, and not every broken streak gets one.
4. Subscribe: coins every month that never expire
A subscription gives you a monthly coin allowance, and chat becomes unlimited, so your coins go further.

Referral tips that actually convert
- Send the link with one sentence about what you like (voice, memory, a specific companion vibe).
- Make sure friends use the link, not just your display name. The bonus ties to the URL.
- Referrals pay on new accounts only. An existing user signing in again will not trigger a grant.
- There is no cap on how many friends you invite. Power referrers treat it like a second signup bonus every time.
Daily Gift edge cases
- Forgot to claim yesterday but opened the app: streak still alive; claim the oldest unclaimed day first when the modal offers it.
- Two days fully away: streak resets to day 1. Not a bug.
- Restore email: only some long streaks get one; link expires in 48 hours; must sign in as the same account.
- Coins not in wallet after claim: pull to refresh on My Wallet or reopen the app once.
Make your coins go further
- Subscribers chat for free. Messages and voice notes cost nothing on a plan, so coins only go on calls, images and video.
- Subscribers pay less for calls (20 a minute instead of 30) and images (10 instead of 15).
- Failed generations are refunded. If an image or video doesn't come through, your coins go back automatically.
- Check your balance any time in My Wallet.
Spending your signup 300 wisely
Your first 300 are enough to learn the product before you pay anything. One possible first week:

Subscribers would spend 0 on those same messages and voice notes, and 50 on five images instead of 75, which is why heavy users outgrow the free plan quickly.
