God Mode puts you in the director's chair. Instead of hoping your companion takes the story where you want, you tell her what happens next, the mood, and how she should act. She follows it, in character, until you clear the box.
Quick answer
God Mode is a private direction field in the Companion Panel. Write scene notes there and every reply follows them until you clear or change the text. It is subscriber-only (Companion and Intimate plans). It also unlocks fully uncensored adult roleplay between fictional adults. Directions never show in chat history and are not saved as memories. Viewing memories is free; editing them needs a subscription.
Who can use it
God Mode is not available on the free plan. You need Companion or Intimate.

How to turn it on
- Open a chat with your companion.
- Tap the panel icon at the far right of the chat header (after the gallery and call icons) to open the Companion Panel.
- Go to Chat Settings and find God Mode.
- Write your direction and save it.
Your direction applies to every reply from then on. To stop, clear the box or replace the text with a new scene.
Anatomy of a good direction
Think of God Mode as notes to an actor. The strongest directions fill five slots:

Filled example (copy and adapt):
Scene: We're in her apartment after a fight. Dishes still in the sink. Mood: Raw, not cruel. She wants to fix this but pride is in the way. Behaviour: Start cold, soften if I stay calm. No instant forgiveness. Plot: By the end of this exchange she admits she was wrong about one thing. Style: Text-message length. One action per reply, not a novel.
You have up to 5,000 characters, enough for a full scenario with side characters, rules, and backstory for this scene alone.
Before and after
Same user message, two different outcomes. Without God Mode she defaults to her preset personality. With a direction she plays the scene you asked for.
You: "Hey. You wanted to talk?"
Without God Mode:
She looks up from her phone and smiles. "Yeah, I was thinking about that thing you said yesterday. Want to grab coffee this weekend?"
With God Mode (slow-burn jealousy direction active):
She sets her mug down too hard. "Talk. Sure." A beat. "Who was that girl in your story last night, {{user}}? Don't lie. I saw the name."
The direction did not change who she is. It changed what this conversation is about.

Slow burn
- "Slow burn romance. She's into me but won't say it. Teasing, near-misses, no confession yet."
- "Office crush energy. Professional in public, one careless compliment in private that she pretends didn't land."
Drama 3. "We just had a fight about trust. She's hurt, not yelling. Make me work to earn her back tonight." 4. "She found out I've been hiding something small. Betrayed, suspicious, still loves me underneath."
Adventure 5. "Fantasy quest: we're lost in a cursed forest. She's the brave one but secretly terrified of the dark." 6. "Heist night. We're partners. She handles the plan; I handle improvisation. Clock is ticking."
Comedy 7. "Chaotic roommates. She 'borrowed' my charger again and won't admit it. Banter, not mean." 8. "Bad cooking date. The smoke alarm went off. Laugh at the disaster, flirt through the chaos."
Spicy (non-graphic) 9. "Date night tension. Candlelight, she's nervous, lots of eye contact and almost-kisses. Keep it suggestive, not explicit." 10. "She's been thinking about me all day and finally says so. Bold, confident, adult. No fade-to-black unless I ask."
For fully uncensored adult scenes, God Mode removes the filter. Keep directions between fictional adults and stay within content rules below.
God Mode vs sliders vs character sheet
Three tools, three jobs. Use the right one and they stack well.

God Mode steers the story. Sliders nudge how she shows up. The character sheet defines who she is. If a direction fights her preset (a shy character forced to be aggressive with strangers), she may drift back toward her core. Adjust the direction or pick a preset that fits the arc.

Works with memory and images
Memory: God Mode directions are private. They do not appear on the Memories page and are not stored as facts about you or her. She can still reference memories from past chats while following your direction. Viewing memories is free on every plan; adding, editing, and deleting memories needs a subscription. See memory.
Images: Auto image generation builds on the current story. A God Mode direction that sets "beach sunset, she's in a red dress" influences what gets pictured when images trigger from chat. Custom prompts still work; the direction adds context behind the scenes.
Chat modes: God Mode works in both Roleplay and Text Mode. For long, detailed directions, pair it with the Devotion chat tier so replies have room to breathe. See chat tiers and modes.
If it's not working
She ignores the direction
- Shorten it. One or two clear sentences often beat a wall of rules.
- Check for conflicts with her character sheet or relationship dynamic.
- Switch to Devotion for deeper replies that follow nuance better than Crush.
- Update the direction when the scene changes (new location, time skip, mood shift).
Direction too long
- The limit is 5,000 characters. Trim filler or split the story: set a direction for Act 1, then rewrite for Act 2.
I can't find God Mode
- Confirm you are on Companion or Intimate. Free accounts see an upgrade gate instead of the field.
- Open the Companion Panel from the icon at the top of chat, then Chat Settings.
- Refresh the page or update the app if the panel layout looks outdated.
Adult content still feels filtered
- God Mode must be active (text in the box, saved). Clearing it restores standard filters.
- Scenes must involve fictional adults only. Content involving minors or characters who appear underage is blocked regardless of God Mode.
Content rules
With God Mode on, adult roleplay between fictional adults is fully uncensored. There is no separate adult add-on.
Affiny's content rules still apply:
- Nothing involving minors or characters who look like minors
- No real people (celebrities, exes, public figures)
- No hate speech or real-world violence
God Mode directs the scene. It does not override safety rules.
Tips
- Be specific but short to start. You can always add detail once the scene is rolling.
- Change it as the story moves. Treat God Mode like a director's note pad, not a contract.
- Combine with Devotion. Deeper replies make the most of a detailed direction.
- Keep a swipe file. Save directions you love outside the app and paste them back for new companions or sequels.
